Research & Development
How we develop our machines
IPS machine development is based on operating data: from our lines at customer sites and from servicing machines made by other manufacturers. We develop each series based on experience with previous versions.
IPS series
Output up to 20,000 pcs/h, shorter changeovers, modularity.
Custom-built
Equipment and tooling for non-standard packaging or processes.
Areas of work
What our design department is working on
R-01
Application precision
- Label positioning accuracy and overlap repeatability
- Synchronisation of the carousel and labelling stations
- Container orientation relative to the seam, embossing or mark
R-02
Glue systems and shrinking
- Hot melt glue dosing and temperature stabilisation
- Glue drums and rollers, pallets – wear and regeneration
R-03
Formats and changeovers
- Reducing changeover time between formats
- Change part sets: starwheels, feed screws, guides
- Storing format settings in the machine control
R-04
Modularity
- IPS MODULAR – interchangeable modules: reel-fed, cut-and-stack, self-adhesive
- Expanding the machine without replacing the carousel
- Common assemblies for the ROLL, HOT and ADH-R series
R-05
Serviceability
- Design for quick replacement of assemblies
- Parts made in our own plant – short delivery times
- Lessons from servicing machines made by other manufacturers
